Winter Pool Covers

Safety covers come in different materials such as strong, polypropylene mesh or tough, long-lasting vinyl. These strong materials give the expectancy of your cover to last 12-15 years in most cases, with regular care. Proper washing, storage and maintenance will ensure your cover's longevity.
Safety covers work differently than traditional winter cover that are held down by water bags. Safety covers mount to anchors, which are drilled into your deck around the pool, with heavy-duty springs. Unlike water bag covers, Safety covers also allow rain and melting snow to pass through the mesh cover or the drain in the solid covers, leaving only the debris on the top of the cover to be removed instead of needing to pump the cover off before spring clean up. These covers are also referred to as "elephant" covers as their strong design will keep all unwanted intruders out of the pool, thereby keeping your children and pets safe!
"Lock-in" covers are another option for protecting your pool and keeping debris out. This option is only viable for pools that have been installed with a double track coping. The first coping track is for holding your liner in place while the second track is capable of accepting the bead from the lock-in cover. These covers are visually pleasing without any waterbags laying on the pool deck that could trap leaves and cause staining on the pool deck. These covers are available in mesh or vinyl and have a life expectancy of 4-5 years.
We also carry standard water bags covers in abudance. These covers are a very economical way to protect your swimming pool investment. The water bag cover is made from a tightly woven polyethylene fabric that is lightweight and durable. These covers are easy to put on and take off and takes up less storage space in the summer months.
